These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, the “Customer”, or “Partner”) and Netseline Ltd. (“TasteCert”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), the operator of the TasteCert certification service available at tastecert.com. By accessing our website, creating an account, or submitting a product for evaluation, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
TasteCert is operated by Netseline Ltd., located at Nikolaou Nikolaidi, 10 Pittakeio Megaro, 3rd Floor, Office 305, 8010 Paphos, Cyprus.
TasteCert provides independent taste and quality certification services for food and beverage products. Our expert panel evaluates submitted products across defined sensory criteria and may award certification tiers, certificates, and badges to products that meet the applicable standards. Certification reflects our independent assessment at the time of evaluation and does not constitute a warranty regarding the product's safety, regulatory compliance, or fitness for any particular purpose.
To use certain features, you must register for an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business you represent. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or that are used in breach of these Terms.
When you submit a product for evaluation, you represent and warrant that you have the right to submit the product, that the information and samples you provide are accurate and genuine, and that the product complies with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for the cost and arrangement of shipping product samples to our evaluation center. Submitted samples may be consumed or disposed of during evaluation and will not be returned unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Products are evaluated by our expert panel using a blind tasting methodology across our published criteria. All certification decisions are made independently and at our sole discretion. We do not guarantee that any product will qualify for certification or for a particular tier. Products that do not qualify receive an evaluation report with feedback. Certification, where awarded, is valid for the evaluation cycle in which it is granted and may be subject to resubmission requirements for subsequent periods.
Upon certification, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the corresponding TasteCert certification badge and materials solely in connection with the specific certified product and in accordance with our usage guidelines. You agree that:
Fees for certification and related services are as set out at the time of your order or in a quote provided to you. The sensory evaluation may be offered free of charge; certification fees become payable when a product qualifies and you elect to receive the official certificate and badge. Unless otherwise stated, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Payment is due in accordance with the terms specified in your invoice. Late or non-payment may result in suspension of services and withdrawal of certification.
All content, trademarks, logos, badges, certificates, software, and materials made available through TasteCert are owned by or licensed to Netseline Ltd. and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited badge license granted above, nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You retain ownership of the product information and content you submit, and grant us a license to use it as necessary to provide and promote our services, including listing certified products in our public directory.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TasteCert and Netseline Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our services. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the relevant service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, except as expressly stated in these Terms and as required by applicable law.
You may stop using our services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to our services, withdraw certification, or revoke badge usage rights if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, provide false information, or misuse our certification or marks. Upon termination, your right to use any TasteCert badges and materials immediately ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cyprus.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
